The complete crankshaft with all conrods, all
gears and shafts of the gearbox including the gearshift lever have
been made new, like the originals.
We had very long talks with the last surviving
pre war works driver, Sigfried Wünsche (he passed away in the
meantime) to find out the original painting of the racing bike. The
frame and the aluminium mudguards are painted in a very special silver.
The petrol tank, which is also made of aluminium, has the famous fish
silver green.
The screws and bolts (all of them are newly made)
are black or chromed. To find out which were black or chromed, investigations
with a magnifying glass were made on black/white pictures.
The rims have been made new according to original
parts.
The two very seldom racing carburettors from the
German company Fischer/Frankfurt have been restored to their original
condition.
We can say without any doubt: The result is
speaking for itself, it was worth the expense!
